Liberals scared Trump will make gay marriage illegal as soon as he takes office, and conservatives excited about the same.

First of all, why do so many on both sides think he has the power to do this? Second, what makes them think he would if he could? Trump is the first republican President EVER with no moral objection to gay marriage and pulled an estimated 20% of the gay vote.

Politically there's literally nothing I couldn't care less about Trump addressing than gay marriage. Why does such a small portion of the population occupy so much time and resources?

The left believes what their leadership tells, that way they don't have to think, back to the video games in the basement

Make no mistake; ignorance is prevalent on both sides. But yea, Obama definitely made a big deal of publicly coming out in support of gay marriage. Of course he was against it before he was for it for obvious political reasons.

Appoint justices who will overturn previous decisions.

Having Mike Pence and Ben Carson as prominent members of his team doesnt bode well for gay rights.

Trump ran on the most gay-friendly platform of any Presidential candidate ever elected. Let that sink it, liberals.

All he can do right now is replace Scalia, it will be at least several years before he has a chance to flip the court. And even then, a case has to make its way to the court.

according to social media, he is also rounding up the blacks, Muslims, and Mexicans and placing them in internment camps. Hell, Van Jones even said so.

And history tells us that regardless of how they were appointed, SC Justices aren't apt at all to reverse precedent. In fact, in the history of the court, there has never been an instance where a right was removed.

This issue isn't anywhere on his agenda. Much more important fish to fry to than to whom people choose to contractually bind themselves.

Just make marriage a non-govt issue, and leave it to the churches
