I still don't know if he sensed that people were censoring themselves and just going along for the ride before he ran or after he was getting trashed for his announcement speech and skyrocketed in the polls

regardless. trump realizes we've had it with the faux outrage and the media hasn't gotten the message, so it's not very hard to make them look bad.

the illegals voting tweet exemplifies this perfectly.

media: that's a lie, how dare he say that (after all the Russia bullshite this is particularly great), he's a loose cannon

normal reasonable person: there are at a minimum of 10 million illegal aliens here and they get driver's licenses in CA. I wonder if they're able to vote. Hmmmm, he's got a point that it's a real potential problem.

So does that mean that anything sensible he says should be discarded as well because it was only meant to fool the media?

Intentionally or not, Trump is the GOAT troll. Take notes Skip Bayless.

no, it means as long as they behave irrationally, hysterically, and play up drama while ignoring the realities wrapped within his tweets...he's going to keep fricking with them

just like he did the celebrity reporters he'd frick with by pretending to be his own publicist.

it's funny...and it's even more satisfying knowing that he's president and that fact cannot be changed and it makes your arse incredibly red.

yeah, 4 more years of this and he'll surpass 8 years of Obama's trolling. I will say that it was just as funny as it was frustrating watching stupid arse republicans take his bait over the last 8 years.

Obama isn't very bright from what I can tell, but he's quick witted with conversations and back and forth rhetoric.

I could probably count on one hand the nice things that I've said about President Obama but here it goes. I think you're wrong. Obama is very quick he just has a fundamentally different (and shitty) vision of America's future. Obama isn't incompetent he just doesn't share the same values as most Americans.

would you trust Obama to run your business?

perhaps he's bright but blinded by ideology but everything whether it's the economy or foreign policy, the results suggest to me, his explanations of these results suggest to me...that he's not very smart in that way. politics doesn't reward you for competency, skill, intelligence, instinct, etc. politics is basically a different version of a beauty pageant. this is why we need fricking term limits in congress. I think our national elections would no longer be between career politicians.

Barry never cares about practical results - only that he is on the "right side of history".
Whatever that means -

I think you misunderstand the placement of outrage in those examples

No one thinks it's reasonable to act as if you're afraid and minorities are going to be rounded up

And as far as kaepernick is concerned, BLM personifies faux outrage. Yeah, cops are hunting down black men...riiiight

On top of it people have had enough of being talked to or assumed to be racist, homophobic, islamaphobic, sexist, Xenophobic, etc. and they're fighting back. Do you deny this? Turn on the news, Donald freaking trump is president

bullshite of the highest order. As long as people such as yourself continue to tell us what Trump means and doesn't mean, he'll have nothing to answer for, though.

It's stunning to me that people still haven't figured this out. It's also stunning that those calling themselves "principled conservatives" don't understand any hope they have doesn't have a chance until an election is actually won.

I can see this continuing for years. If they don't get it now, it's not likely they're going to get it anytime soon.

The entertainment continues. And the tax cut is coming. Bank it, we'll have new withholding tables by July.
