Don't bother with facts or recent history
Nowadays it's all about that WINNING! SO MUCH WINNING!
never mind that we tried it just a few years ago and the tax cuts completely bombed

While I'm against the infrastructure plan, this is cunning
are you actually against repair and design of new roads, bridges and modernizing transportation?
do you want capitalists to buy the rights to the bridges? We need them. if the Congress does not handle it, shall we pay through the nose for Bechtel to build and own the bridges that are needed in Appalachia? There are places where if you can't use that bridge you drive a great distance to get to one and what makes you think the one 47 miles north is not owned by Andrew Carnegie IV.

They sat on their extra cash and/or invested it overseas.
Man, Winston, think about what you're saying.
'sat on their cash'? What does that even mean? If they store it in a bank the supply of loanable funds increases which pushes down interest rates and allows entrepreneurs easier access to cheaper cash.
If they invest it overseas they are still using dollars, which have to be exchanged by the overseas banks, so that money also increases the supply of loanable funds.
If they invest it here, they are directly creating jobs

So he shouldn't do it?
He should at least try. Dems will have a hard time saying no, Rs will be against it tho. I can't see it passing TBH, but it would help to recast his presidency if he can get it passed
