San Francisco Presbyterian Church offers drag queen Bible story hour for kids

The Rev. Victor Floyd told a local NBC affiliate that his church hosted the event in response to pushback against drag queen performances around the U.S.

I always get which Presbyterians are liberal and which are conservative confused, but I’m guessing this one aligns with the liberal faction.

Evil. It is injecting itself not with fire or sword but through words like inclusiveness and diversity. Paul warned about this. While this has been happening for years, recently it seems to be spreading more and more, pushing farther and farther.

Not just you. Just moments ago, today - my church rejected a liberal agenda allowing Presbyteries to weigh in the LGBTQRST+ movement at our annual General Assembly.
The conservatives won (had to be approved by 75%) by one vote.
Liberals have tried to take over every facet of our society.
I left the Episcopal faith because gays were being paraded around - which are now in upper leadership of the Church.
The line has to be drawn here and now. No further.

Recruiters must have not been able to find normal people to fill the job requests for story tellers. That must be why it seems like the only people available to tell stories to little kids are clown freaks.
It's simply not necessary to have stories told to your kids by drag queens. It's like using a hammer to hammer a nail for centuries, and then someone says hey, you're an a-hole if you don't start hammering nails in with this handgrenade.

Why do they need to get dressed up in drag to read to the kids? Why not just come as your "normal" self?

As has been asked before...why just the kids. Why isn't there a senior drag queen story hour ...or drag queen yard work hour. Why is always with kids and easy reading
