Good. We need to get rid of that liberal Kushner anyways. Bannon and Sessions need to be the main men up there.

Lock him up!!!

If you think Donald is a master chess player, maybe he doesn't like Jared and this whole thing with Flynn was just to set Jared up.

Honestly, what was illegal except the intercepts?

They won!!!

They were being monitored and knew it.

I'm no fan of Kushner but what this is BS

It's post election and the former NSA head has informed Trump that they are being monitored by FBI and NSA. I find it very sad that this Administration doesn't get a chance to improve the relationship with Russia on their own terms.

Obama got skull fricked the entire time he was President by Moscow. Crimea, Ukraine and Poland not to mention Syria as Iran.

And it's WaPo so you know it's fake.

Guess it took 40 years for WaPo to live down the disgrace of all their fake news BS concerning Watergate that turned out to be nothing and smeared the reputation of one of the most honorable republican presidents ever.

Looks like they are trying to pull the same stunt again.

We'll never forget WaPo.

Trump stole the election after he was elected? I don't understand! I mean why wouldn't we want to have communication with our fellow Nuclear rivals...???

I think there is plenty to go after Trump on but trying to have secret back channel communication with Russians while knowing your opponents are spying on you is ridiculous. In fact what's illegal is the constant monitoring of the transition team even dispersing private meetings throughout the intelligence apparatus.

So?

They didn't want Obama's IC creeping their communications.

Looks like they had damned good reason.

Wow, serous levels of denial/rationalization.

Why do you think they had the meeting at trump tower? Twitter is abuzz with suggestions trump was at dec 1 mtg.

Out of curiosity I wanted to go back and look at that time period:

Nixon actually held a pretty steady ~75% approval rating with Republicans even a year plus into Watergate. Left office with over 50% approval rating from his party.

And that was before Fox News and the right-wing advocacy(sorry, "news") networks cropped up to provide Republicans "alternative facts" every time negative press comes up about their guy.

Tell us again how WAPO told you the electrical grid was hacked.

You have lost any sanity you once had. You want so badly for Trump to be guilty of something...you will literally believe anything. Even when deep down you know it's BS. You are a charicature of your former self. I feel for you, bud.

Reuters is now confirming.

Reuters

If this is all true, this is un-spinable. There's no good reason for the President to need a back channel of communication.
