Does them moving a sub there mean that their land based stuff is no longer capable of making a hit? I doubt it.

This is just a propaganda. And I would assume we have at least one sub in the med.

Russia's Navy isn't as strong, but it doesn't need to be. They aren't nation building; they do not need to build a big navy to protect their oil and natural gas from flowing smoothly as we do here in the states.

So, their navy not being a threat is irrelevant.

Where they are better than us is on the ground. More tanks; better tanks; and they have caught up technological wise with their nukes to their precision missiles (if not surpassed us entirely; thank you Obama).

The frightening thing is that we don't truly know what the hell China or Russia really has. They could have things we haven't seen yet. We have things they haven't seen yet too I'd assume.

I do not wish to find out either way.

Wars aren't fought on land anymore, they are fought through cyber warfare and drones. As I said earlier, nukes are a weapon of the past.

And we sure as hell don't know the full capability of our military technology either.

Our interests and Russia's interests really aren't incompatible. That's why Syria is so dumb - who gives a crap about that attack - false flag or not? WTF is Trump caving to the Ziocons?

My cousin works at Fort Meade with the NSA in naval intelligence.

he was specifically working in cyber intelligence specifically against Russia.

He has stated that Russia is very good at cyber war and that Iran is too. They are very formidable as is china.

Wars aren't won at sea either. They aren't won with aircraft. They are won with strategic and competent decisions made by competent leaders. Germany didn't lose WWII because they didn't have the power to win, but because their leader decided to enter Russia to freeze to death in winter.

Whoever makes the first mistake loses. So far Obama blundered the shite out of everything he had in terms of advantage militarily against Russia and Russia has benefited from his dumbfrickery. Trump and Putin both have not made any wrong decisions.

We are at war with Russia plain and simple. One day it will go hot.

Yeah why wouldn't they want a Navy to keep ours from bombing the ever living frick out of the actually important parts of their frozen wasteland.

Tanks are barely useful in a Russia vs US conflict air power is nuch more important and they are not close in tech and sheer numbers

Yeah tanks don't do much when they get bombed before getting into any significant fights.

What the frick are you talking about? How did Obama degrade our military I want specifics from you on how our ground forces are weak?

We have more tanks than we need. Our military would crush them in every phase of the game. They'd never be able to mount an offensive.

The problem isn't winning the war. The problem is cost, death tolls, and lack of benefits for winning.
