Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Saturday said he was "very encouraged" that President Trump is reportedly considering two GOP lawmakers to replace fired FBI Director James Comey. Rubio wrote on Twitter that either Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas) or Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) "would be an excellent choice" for FBI chief.

Marco, the man of the people, understands that Cornyn and lesser so Gowdy would be great choices to fill the FBI director position. The Cornyn/Sessions teams would be a powerhouse! Marco's mandate is to once again create a prosperous American society! Marco 20/20 Vision. Foresight. Growth.

Would Corryn really trade a Senate seat to lead the FBI for 3 years? (Because unless its a career FBI official, I think its pretty obvious that Trump's choice will be fired as soon as a new President takes over).

And that would be wrong from what I understand

So I'm sure you'll be criticizing the next guy for doing it like you have Trump. Good to hear - unless you're a hypocrite.

Republicans attempting to convert the Supreme Court and the FBI into partisan entities.

Bravo.

Checks and balances are so overrated.

The founding fathers were obviously clueless on how this government thing should go down.

Once Pence gets sworn-in in a few months, he will probably be the one making the final decision on this.

Dude, it's montanagator we're talking about. Not only does he toe the Democratic Party line, but he was affiliated with a presidential candidate in 2016 who openly embraced sexism and bigotry as part of her platform.

To top that, he thinks the DEM's are going to make massive gains in 2020 by acting like they are right now.

He's a simpleton and a partisan hack.

Perhaps if you fricking idiots weren't trying to turn America into a country that it was never intended on being then this wouldn't be happening.

But you did and here we are, so frick you and your anti-American movement

I think Rubio might have a chance of winning the governorship of Peurto Rico.
