He should be more concerned with the decline of his game.

I think ole Rog is fixing to get a good dose of what divisive actually is.

Goodell and the owners were doing everything in their power to ignore this entire thing and watch it eventually go away (quietly black balling Colin). All they wanna do is make money and stay out of it.

Trump made that impossible and forced their hand, of course they're going to defend their players.

No, it’s not. It’s peaceful protesting.

ESPN is the news. All they want is people talking (and clicking),their motivations are slightly different.

Fox News and CNN are two prime examples. The amount of clickbait headlines coming out of them daily is staggering.

I was wondering the same thing. How was his statement divisive? It wasn't divisive at all.

Divisive is just the hot buzzword of the left now. They will apply it to anything and everything Trump says.

Goodell works for the owners and look at the news today. The owners are slowly but surely backing their players, at least four came out and criticized Trump and his comments. Expect more and more of them to do the same.

Not Jerry, too much of a baw, but I could even see his hand being forced. All of his a talent is Black. Sean lee and cole Beasley ain't putting butts in seats for him.

He targeted black players peacefully protesting and called them sons of bitches.

I understand you probably back the man but it you REALLY can't see how that's divisive, I don't know what to tell you.

Their worshiping of the man blinds them to reality.

He condemns athletes who peacefully protest as sons of bitches but the neo nazis and klansmen that killed a girl had some good people in their group.

Seriously

That's how retarded people think.
Trying to be an appeaser,it's always a losing proposition.

The problems in this country aren't racial, they are cultural. My Black neighbors are pretty much just like me in everything, but they probably vote DEM, I have no way of knowing for sure.

Maybe they want to follow the lead of the big cities? The problem is,they never go there to see the truth.
If they saw, they might change their minds?

I wonder if @real thought there were any "very fine people" among the "sons of bitches".

Goodell is an idiot, he has issues at the reaction rather than the action that caused all of this.

He's clearing walking into a losing scenario.

Has his contract been renewed yet? Last I heard they still had no new contract as they were working on details.

This.

And Trump should be more concerned with about a thousand things before the state of the NFL.

He's getting his contract. The owners back him on this one. Several of them have already made that clear publicly (giants, dolphins, 9ers, Packers). Probably just the start.
