Rick Scott bipartisan praise for Irma prep

Just heard reporter on CNN say he thinks Scott had FL in the best Pre-emergency ready response mode ever. Still remains to see what happens in the next few days. Curious to hear what FL residents have to say. Does he cash this into other political ambitions (Senate run against Nelson?).

Jeb had like 8 Hurricanes in 3 years or something crazy. Any credit you give should have Jeb involved or even Governor Crist who set the table.

Scott has done an amazing job so far. He's been a damned good Governor. He has my full support.

I think the President actually wants Rick Scott to run for Senate against Bill Nelson and actually has been pushing him to do so. They are personally good friends and he wants more republicans loyal to him in the senate.
If he keeps a great response to Irma going and still continues to maintain a steady governorship so far and stay away from big gaffes, he will have a very good chance of winning 2018.

I said the same thing when I watched his press conference Friday. He is the anti-Blanco.

If only he got the NG to patrol in armored vehicles and take out the looters, might have been the best eva.
