I often mention what he was good at/for. I also say that there are a lot of unknowns where DeSantis is concerned. But because I don’t pretend Trump is the second coming, Trump sycophants come unglued.
But yeah, I’m highly critical of Trump’s handling of Covid. He truly shite the bed. So let me ask you a question - in terms of longstanding impact on the country, do you agree with my POV that Covid is the most pivotal “event” in the US since WWII?
I think that’s a reasonable assertion, and it’s in that perspective Trump should be judged. He was great in handling allies and keeping us out of inane shooting matches. He was great for the economy his first 3 years. He was great for energy independence. But combine all of those things and multiply by 10 and you still come up short of Covid’s impact on the country.
