Easier access to information isn't part of the first amendment. If he starts shutting down the power to their printing press, I'll be right with you.

In every other aspect of life (business & personal) if you want something from someone, you need to at minimum be respectful. They haven't done even that while running with every unsupported story from the bowels of the internet.

Since CNN chose to toss away their integrity, I hope Trump tosses their press pass for 4 years.

I mean it would be one thing if it was just CNN, but what did Politico do?

But even then, if we don't want liars, then having a source there whose leader has:

argued that aliens are secretly in control, that the government is behind 9/11, that the government has staged all of the recent terrorist attacks and mass shootings, that the government is using chemicals and vaccines to murder the citizens, the Osama Bin Laden was a CIA asset, etc.,

THEN apparently that's a lie itself OR he believes those outrageous things.

At this point people need to be honest. This isn't about principles, conservatism or constitutional originalism....it's revenge politics.

Interesting. My registration says that my party starts with an R, and my voting history--although I didn't vote this past year--says the presidential candidates I supported (regret McCain vote) were in that same party.

Well I have probably defended him more more than my negative views of his presidency would indicate.

Specifically the other day, a poster was (rightfully) upset with the Trump, anti-Semitism claims, but in the very same thread, called Obama anti-white and anti-Christian. And because I'm tried of so many resorting to the "you're a bigot" argument, I defended him.
