2005....

The disengagement was proposed in 2003 by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, adopted by the Government in June 2004, approved by the Knesset in February 2005 and enacted in August 2005. Israeli citizens who refused to accept government compensation packages and voluntarily vacate their homes prior to the August 15, 2005 deadline, were evicted by Israeli security forces over a period of several days.[1] The eviction of all residents, demolition of the residential buildings and evacuation of associated security personnel from the Gaza Strip was completed by September 12, 2005.

All for peace.

Since then... over 11K attacks have taken place.

It was a crap hole before Israel settled there.
Why shouldn't they have left it as they found it.

Remember when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forcibly removed from their homes in 1948 when neighboring Arab countries, not themselves, declared war on Israel? Remember when Israel refused again and again the right of return to these people who had lived in Palestine for centuries? There are grievous atrocities on both sides of this conflict.

They left willingly. They believed the neighboring Arab countries were going to drive the Jews into the Mediterranean. They gambled and lost

Gaza boarders Egypt too, seems like they agree with Israel's security measures.

The civil war involved Arab Militias, Jewish Militias and British troops.

The 1948 Arab-Israeli War was not a civil war. It was fought between the newly created state of Israel and a coalition of neighboring Arab states. It was only after the Arab League's defeat that the Palestinian exodus began. And at that time 1 in 3 Palestinians were Christians and not Islamic radicals.

Not one thing to do with that topic.

It is relevant. You people claim that all Palestinians are Arab terrorists who hate Jews. It undermines the notion that Palestinian displacement is merely the spoils of war and demonstrates that the Israeli's wanted to ethnically cleanse its borders of all non-Jews.

only in a total delusional fantasy can someone say that ethnic cleansing of an arab neighborhood is "giving someone something", and that fighting against it is "taking something"

Yep. The Christians who were robbed blind by the state are victims too, which destroys the bullshite notion that these "muzzzies will never be happy with any deal."

Not really. I've researched both sides of the story and gravitated to the one that made the most sense. Bias maybe, but not ignorance

The Waccamaw and Chicora tribes still reside in Northeastern South Carolina. They were never forcibly expelled from this area. If they were, they should be granted lands in this area or financial compensation, both of which Israel has refused to Palestinian refugees.
