If 99% of seniors believe the Enemedia want Trump to fail y'all should seriously pay attention. These older folk have been around long enough to make an astute observation and informed opinion.

Not to mention the elderly typically aren't connected and in-tune with alt-right media outlets. They are getting that stance directly from watching the nightly news on cable and local affiliates.

Polls have been trash in my eyes since November 8, 2016

Pretty sure I remember hearing that if you averaged out the polls, that the outcome of the election was within a margin of error. The models were possibly wrong, but I think the polls were about as good as you can get without getting a larger sample size.

Trumpkin mathematician doesn't understand 44 is less than 46. Outstanding work.

The national polls were well within the MoE, and this is accounting for an unprecedented number of declared "undecideds" late in the race and two significant 3rd party candidates. With all polls in a basket it was a pretty huge sample size FWIW.

Some of the states were more meaningfully off, but again, that doesn't really say anything about the quality of the poll when 10+% were undecided as of the last surveys.

Of course this has been repeated ad nauseum. Those who don't get it yet probably never will.

1.2% off on margin
