Even if it was 46%...that's everyone who voted for him.
So basically he has 100% approval of everyone who voted for him and the people who didn't vote for will be the opposite rating.
Why do we still have approval ratings?
They're a joke now...it's people for and people against and it won't change from the election especially as militant as the left has become.
All that matters is Trump has 100% approval for people that voted for him and frick the people who voted for Hillary.
So Trump can never really get over 46% or basically his entire base...because there's no wiggle room, nobody is coming over, the ship has sailed on party politics...at this point in our political history, you're either on the boat with Trump or you want to stay on the Island.

I only know 2 seniors who voted for him. They both think he is a failure. Fwiw, i would not trust either of them with a potato gun.
