Yes he is. The dems are committed so much that they are willing to lie about why they are for the investigation.

"Integrity of the Democratic process"....

It's BS

Well you should respond to a Democrat then.

Rand Paul for President in 2024

I was for him in 2016. Did you see the debates?

disappointing.

and he polled lower than Biden.

I just have to admit that yet-another guy I think has a lot to offer is not appreciated by the masses

Yes, I saw the debates. He had one really good one, but it barely moved the needle.

I liked him in 2016, too. He & Cruz were my favorites. Then I found out what Trump was campaigning on, and I had a Top 3.

Personally, I like Rand's appearances. I would rather watch a Rand Paul interview more than any other politician. He may not be Mr. Excitement, but I'm watching to hear what he has to say.

But, you're right. His campaign never achieved lift-off. One of his problems is that the GOP Establishment doesn't like him (which is a good thing in my book), so there's no faction which is really in his corner. FOX hasn't really treated him very well over the years.

The Trump administration is under investigation by the FBI. I don't understand how you are all so confused at to why they were looking into Flynn and probably Manafort as well. Are you guys being intentionally slow or is it just natural?

No, they're not.

You would have a point if you referred to the campaign. The administration has done nothing wrong at all.

And the reason you feel that way is because you are decidedly more to the Left than you will admit on this board. I've known it for years, but some here still don't see it. This is like me saying that I want to see Joe Manchin primary President Hillary Clinton in 2020. I mean, why wouldnt I want that?

I would love to see a President Rand Paul someday, but not until President Trump has had his run.

Associates =/= administration

What is with everybody equating others in thread. Trump is his associates, and his associates aren't his administration (unless they're in it).

Compared to many here sure. In the traditional sense, I am ideologically closest to a classical liberal, which is closest to libertarian in 2017.

But when I talk to my left wing friends, I feel like I'm nearing the edge of the right wing by comparison.

Except I would vote for Rand Paul. I may even give him my first political donation. You can go through my history, I have consistently supported him.

They said they don't have it on Trump himself. If only Trump would have said "wiretapped my associates" instead of "wiretapped my phones," this issue would have been resolved.

Oh, save your shite.
Dems will call Trump a liar even if he produces a video of Obama personally cutting and splicing wires on the telephone lines outside of Trump tower.

"Wire tap my phones" could be referencing any of the phone lines used for his personal, campaign, or business interests, and "Obama" is often used interchangeably with his administration and toadies like ValJar on this very forum.

All of this parsing and mincing of words is so dumb.

"How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"

Given that I'm pretty much opposed to his trade, immigration and defense policies, I'm hoping he doesn't 'accomplish' much of anything.

So then why would a legitimate investigations of a Manafort be a Watergate scandal? And that information has been known for MONTHS.

Does he not care about the law? And if Manafort is guilty of something illegal, when if unrelated to collusion, can I consider Trump guilty too since it's "him" afterall

Or maybe words matter. You're starting to sound like the left wing and the new interpretations of law and meanings.

Couple of questions:

(1) Do you differentiate between legal & ILLEGAL immigration?

(2) Do you believe that America has the right to implement and enforce laws against ILLEGAL immigration?
