so much so that an African American was elected on the heels of his presidency...and they have been on the decline since.

True or False?
False. It has become incredibly uncomfortable for some closeted white people who think they are victimized, but otherwise race relations are pretty good right now.

I had sex with a caramel-colored sista under President Barack HUSSEIN Obama, so I say race relations are at their best right now

I disagree I had sex with a dark Nigerian, 2 Asians, and a Hispanic under GW and only white girls since Obama took office. So I would say race relations were far better under GW.

I also think Obama has empowered more minorities to speak out about their greievances.

....he has empowered more minorities to make MORE EXCUSES as to why they are not being successful....as if they needed more excuses.

Obama was suppose to be the final nail in coffin of racism, but instead he and his supporters have taken a sledge hammer to that coffin

Shocking! Who could have ever seen that coming...

Yes, white people, the ones that started all this mess, can't run away from the disaster you created if we want to make this better for everyone and for our country.

Started what mess?

I agree. In spite of these instances of isolated media generated hysteria, I don't see any evidence of increased problems with "race relations" in my day to day encounters living in a very racially diverse place. Hence, I choose not to focus on such silliness.

If anything obama exposed that many of our thoughts on racism and race where just suppressed.

Who, exactly, has been suppressing the black man?

quote:

How are we supposed to make progress if we don't change the way we feel and see others? There's not a damn law that's gonna change people's underlyinf opinions about people.

Are you advocating for laws to guide peoples thoughts/feelings?

quote:

Obama also exposed a segment of black America unknown to a large segment of the world, particularly white people, because statistically most white people do not have a black or brown friend in their immediate circle...

Please post statistics. Also, statistically most black people do not have a white friend in their immediate circle. Your point?

quote:

. I think The beer summit illustrated that. Police have been mistreating us for centuries,

So you claim no responsibility for anything done on behalf of the black man?

quote:

and via obama we finally had a president that 1) as a black man, related to the injustic,

Really? And how did he relate? Was it his being raised by his white mother and white grandparents? Was it him being shipped around the country and around the world by his mother and even to Africa? Do you relate to his upbringing in Hawaii and his ivy league education?

quote:

Thus we saw the downward spiral from white people. I also think Obama has empowered more minorities to speak out about their greievances.

That's it, continue to blame white people for your failures as a society. For you, success will never be attained.

You are probably right.

The Duke LaCrosse thing was in 2004 right? That got a lot of the race baiters out in force, but nothing like Ferguson or Trayvon Martin.
