The best thing about Reagan was that he was a MASTER at propaganda.

But then, he was a professional actor (hell, he was president of the Screen Actors Guild), so he was trained in memorizing scripts and eliciting emotions from an audience. He also was well aware of the power of imagery.

Funny, he was generally considered to be a pretty crappy actor AS AN ACTOR. Maybe he didn't really come into himself talent-wise in that regard until he got into elected office.

That's exactly false. He had a grand vision for America, like Kennedy, and he could communicate his vision beautifully. His speeches were usually simple and elegant. He tapped into our better angels, not our resentments like Our current Clown Car President. He talked of the City On The Hill which required you to be culturally literate. He asked you to be a citizen and not a subject. He was gracious to his opponents and maintained the highest level of personal decorum in and out of office. Unlike our current Incompetent Sack Of left over Elephant shite President, HIS political initiatives were popular. Unlike our current Incompetent Sack Of left over Elephant shite President, HIS political initiatives were effective. He has both style and SCOREBOARD. Deal with it.

here's the problem, it was illegal. and everyone knew it, thats why they tried to cover it up.

Uhhhh, it was illegal because the Democrats in the House wanted the Communists to win.
Today, the President is changing Obamacare every month. That's illegal because he is bypassing the House which holds the authority to pass the law or amend the law. What's the difference?

I shall now hold my breath while you squirm.

Yep, he was a MASTER of propaganda - and an actor.

Yeah, I can see you can't exactly discuss the topic objectively.

Wild, back in the day students called me Ortega because I was his twin. It was true. I was a Cajun with dark skin and a mustache and glasses.
This was me ....

Thats really an ignorant statement. i agree with you on Obamacare. That too is illegal in my opinion. I am a registered independent. I dont buy the BS from either party. But it was illegal because it was the law. You can't pick and choose the laws u will follow simply because it fits your ideology.

He just oozed charisma, and was a great leader for our country. He was a patriot.

And he was a professional actor.
