At what point do the approval polls mean that Trump will no longer be president so he's unable to continue the destruction of Obama's policies one by one.

Just want to know what that number is so I can give a frick about the approval polls.

Lots of polls said he would never be President, so there's that....

When he gets down in the 30s and stays consistently there then he will be unable to push for any of his agenda that requires congressional approval so he'll be damn near a lame duck at that point. But keep acting like they don't matter. Believe me, they matter to people in congress.

He had low approval before the election.

Pollsters are likely still not polling the silent majority that voted for trump that usually don't vote. It's why they whiffed so bad on swing state polls, even though the advantages in Cali and NY caused them to be close to the popular vote totals.

Trump has so far kept his campaign promises as well as he could do. Congress will have to do their part, but I can't see how anyone who votes trump would be in satisfied with his job so far. I guarantee his real approval is around 45%

What happens if his approval rating is around 10% but he pushes for something that is polling at around 80% among Republican voters?

He ran a populist campaign and his agenda is largely populist. His personal approval rating is irrelevant in advancing his agenda.

June 2016 WaPo reported:

"The poll finds 70 percent of Americans have an unfavorable view of Trump, including a 56 percent majority who feel this way "strongly." Negative ratings of Trump are up 10 percentage points from last month to their highest point since he announced his candidacy last summer, nearly reaching the level seen before his campaign began (71 percent)."

So yeah, I'm not concerned about "approval" polls.

when you skew your sample 24% republican when republican's won 2 million more house votes in the house than democrats, we hold a nearly 50 seat majority what do you expect.

yes in gallup's fantasy pretend world were democrats are the majority trump is unpopular.

I any of that actually happened it would be tragic. Of course it doesn't so let's stay in the real world and stop making things up ok?
