Putin was right about Syria

"A strike (against Assad) would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance."

Putin is an a-hole Putin is a thug, what Putin is not is stupid. The man understands global relations and how to get what he wants very well. The former kgb man knows far more about Syria than anyone in the US. I am glad he is not our leader but our leaders could learn a quite a few thing from him.

Wouldn't be easier and cheaper to just give Assad his chemical weapons back?

You mean Saddam's weapons. I don't think Assad ever gave them up.

Does it make me a bad American to say I wish Vladimir resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in lieu of the current Kenyan that is destructing America in front of our eyes?

don't really disagree with that take, and having a "smart azzhole thug" in your corner is certainly better than having a stupid, inept bumbling azzhole thug like Obomba.

White House announced 3 days ago that they were destroyed.

No. Not in my opinion it doesn't make you a bad American. Putin could more than likely teach BO a thing or two if BO would actually pay attention and give a damn regarding what Putin had to say.

It's more showing how F'd our foreign policy is when a Russian dictator embarrasses us.

What about W? He's the one who got us in this mess to begin with, and not only did he ignore the former KGB chief, Putin, when he warned him about invading Iraq, but he also ignored the former CIA chief, his own father, when he told him the same thing.

I always thought that Big Chief Dick, Donald "The Duck" Rumsfeld, Deputy Wolf, and their clan of tribal warriors were the ones behind the fiasco... while Dubya was just wanting to kick some arse.
Seriously, I didn't realize the part about Bush #1 warning him actually happened.
