This may be most pathetic Putin arse kissing post I've ever seen. Yes, it makes you a horrible American to wish this. You think the oligarchy in this country sucks, why don't you go see how it is in Russia then?

Right, that was my point that if Assad fell the same thing would have happened in Syria that happened in Egypt, Islamist would have taken control. You're the one that brought up the US not I.
Just to be clear, do you think Mubarak did the right thing by stepping down, or do you think he should have followed Assad's example?

Do you remember Brent Scowcroft's op-ed Don't Attack Saddam? Here's some context on the article that was written by Bush 41's best friend:
Trackfan, take into consideration that it hasn't been until the past few years that I began to wake up and question our political system and foreign policy to the extent I do now. I mean...I knew it had flaws but little did I really know until I seriously started challenging my own biased beliefs. I really wasn't that concerned about W's decisions during his first couple of years in office.
Little did I know at the time. However, the ones I did have some suspicions about at that time were Cheney and Rumsfeld.
Thanks for the link.
