Has anyone ever heard an actual sensible argument against voter ID?

Yeah, poor people can't afford it and taxpayers don't want to subsidize it.

Voter fraud isn't really a thing. You are brainwashed if you think illegals are voting.

It's a national security matter and the media has had their security clearance REVOKED. So, sit down and shut-up and let the man do his job.

If the pattern holds, "someone to the left" is an understatement.

In my opinion, Bush governed further right than Clinton did left. Obama governed further left than Bush did right. Trump is currently tracking to at least be perceived as governing further right than Obama did left (right or wrong, that's the perception).

If Republicans aren't careful, they are going to end up with Elizabeth Warren in the White House. Then they'll see what it really means for elections to have consequences.

Why do you people see everything in extremes??? Are you saying there is no objective media? Just because your favorites are in timeout?

The media has been out of control, they deserved this. Maybe they'll stop posting rumors and deal in facts from now on?

Nah.

Um...No? To some people $25 is not something they can spare. Some people support families on a paycheck to paycheck basis and still struggle. You shouldn't have to pay $$ to vote. Poll taxes are wrong.

She's literally insane, I don't see her getting elected but I was wrong about Trump

People who would balk at the idea of spending $25 are, more than likely, on some kind of public assistance. Public assistance that requires a form of identification in order to be eligible.

What are you basing that on? IDs are, in most cases free.

But maybe I'm not understanding the price. In your personal experience, how much does an ID cost??

Outside of any "cost", you're not answering the question. What is a valid argument against ID? You need one for most any common interaction in culture and commerce these days. Issuing ID's would actually help the poor and minorities function in the modern world....don't you agree?

I doubt that. Regardless of how vocal and destructive "stoppyfoot" they are, they make up a small minority of the value systems that make up this country. Just my opinion...others may feel differently.

They are free to poor people here, or 5 bucks if you can pay. Tribal IDS are free

If they are free, sure. But then taxpayers have to subsidize. In Texas, your driver's license costs $25.

I have yet to hear any conservative have a problem with helping people get ID. After all, its not a monthly cost...kind of a one time deal. Where do those same objections of yours stand on subsidizing healthcare insurance companies on a recurring monthly basis?
