Traditional conservative? Thanks for that. I can laugh myself to sleep tonight. Unlike you, no traditional conservative defended almost every move Obama made.
Defended the Iran deal. Still do. Find another proposal, domestic or foreign, which I "defended." You're a queer [strange] enough duck to have something on standby.

Damn son, at this rate you'll be a John Bircher by Christmas.
No. I don't think I know how to become white trash. I tried. Didn't take.

quote:

Oh, and not that either one of us gives a damn if you know this, but I'm not a Republican. I despise the GOP almost as much as the Democrats. Too many sellouts, like the Bush family, McCain, Boehner, etc.

I'm aware. You're more a George Wallace, David Duke Democrat (before Duke switched over). We all know. You're well profiled. You share more than I do in many fewer posts.

I'm a conservative. There's a difference. One of the reasons I like Trump is because he's the closest thing we've had to a 3rd party candidate in at least 100 years. When you despise both major parties as much as I do, that's a good thing.
You're a titty baby. You're a titty baby with 100 years of butthurt built up inside--over Christ only knows what. And it comes out routinely enough for me to not have to belabor the point. Biggest whiner on this whiny arse forum.

quote:

PS - I guarantee you one thing. Outside of your band of misfits, there's nobody here who thinks you're a traditional conservative. Or like I said, even a moderate. Conservatives didn't white knight for Barack Obama (No pun intended).
I don't have a band of misfits. Just some bros whose opinions I think bring value to the thread that you and yours simply coultn'd provide. We're here to help. And I don't care what a bunch of cowards think about anything. Too many don't even know what they actually believe. I can't spare a care for what they think they know about what I believe.

Makes sense, no?

Maybe Trump should stick to their set narrative instead of saying the exact opposite his spokespeople were instructed to say. I'm sure they're getting tired of Trump making them look like idiots.

They at least get paid for it-- the ones eager to do it all for free are the hardest to wrap my head around.

his administration isn't even fully staffed yet. He can't get rid of staff and then expect to be able to implement his agenda.

I would suggest that leaks are going to accelerate. These staffers know that their long term career options are fricked and they are going to suck up to whoever they can.

Also, trump leaks shite all the time. The leader sets the expectation for the organization.

He can't get rid of staff because "keep a lawyer on retainer and expect a grand jury subpoena in the next 18 months" is a tough hiring sell for prospective replacements.

well that too. Potential staffers were hard to find in December, they will be impossible now.

I LOL'd at the FBI director short list. Most of those names aren't going near the trump administration.

I really don't think there is anything so unusual about the daily goings on in the Trump Administration, with one exception. The leaks. Do any of you truly think other administrations ran like some well oiled machine? If Clinton or Bush or Obama people leaked like this we would have seen much the same things we see now.

The way to shut down the leaks is pretty simple. Find a leaker indict and convict him or her. That should plug the leaks long enough to finish vetting who they have there and weeding out the holdovers.

To those that whine about some "chilling effect" this would have I say this. Anyone there that does his or her job and does not do anything wrong, such as leak, they have nothing to fear. Why would anyone that did not intend to leak or break the law hesitate to work for this administration?

where was all this disdain and condemnation for "leaks" and/or "leakers" when it WASN'T to the Rep's detriment?

I would completely lose all hope if he surrounds himself with a cadre of yes-men sycophants. I think he already has too many of those around. Someone needs to grab him by his red tie and make him listen to logic. At least get him to wear some Depends so the shite trail is not so broad and fluid.

First you have to admit the problem then you have to solve it and Trump is most of the problem. This guy can't stay out his own way. Trump had a major victory on US imports into China but he completely swamped the news with his interview.

Winning is what droids say. Some discipline is needed. Where is the Andy Card when you need him.

George Wallace. David Duke. Earlier, you even conjured up the ancient term Dixiecrats. Seriously, were you raised by Stokley Carmichael & Angela Davis?

It's 2017, fool. You purposely pretend that this is still the South of 1960, but I guess that's so you can be dismissive of the very people who have schooled you time & time again on this board. If you're 34, that means you were born in 1982-83. That also means that, from the day you were born, you never spent a single day in the South that you claim is alive and well today.

How sad & pathetic are you?

The obvious response to that then is there are too many Dem holdovers in Rep admins doing subversive work. What else could it be?

You're pretending to be a conservative. I've seen enough of your posts, in between meltdowns, to know this is bullshite. You and many on the board are simply pretending. Conservatives that have a fricking clue wouldn't support a lifelong liberal like Trump.

Yeah, actually had to put in some work. There's a big proposal coming up with a high ceiling. Would love to land that one.

What makes you think that? Trump has said publicly numerous times he is going to make cuts to staff and not have near as many bureaucrats in his administration (specifically at the State Department).
