Perhaps if Trump would stop acting like a giant douche and undermining his staff when they try to explain his actions, he would have a more supportive staff.
Posted on 5/13/17 at 2:53 pm to half cajun
He only selects staff that would be loyal to him over country and are willing to lie openly... then he is shocked to find out they aren't very loyal to him.
His campaign staff was full of degenerates who deal with the shades of clients. Most of his White House staff was pulled from the campaign.

He needs to have every single person take a polygraph. Take it or find another job.
Will he go first? Because a major problem seems to be that all of Trump's surrogates say the truth is one thing, then Trump in an interview says almost the exact opposite thing is the truth.

Yes and in some cases they lie to protect him and he sabotages them by telling the truth. See Comey.

Yeah frick transparency and oversight.
But given this is the Least trustworthy president in my lifetime, the last thing we need is for him to avoid scrutiny.

No, I have a very complete understanding of how it works.

This is the mindset that will destroy this chance we have to stop the DIM/LIM/MSM drive to socialism.
Trump is the one who needs to read the 'riot act' to himself. He is the one leaving a trail of hot shite everywhere he walks - and then complains if his staff is not quick enough to clean the stains off the while linens.
I would completely lose all hope if he surrounds himself with a cadre of yes-men sycophants. I think he already has too many of those around. Someone needs to grab him by his red tie and make him listen to logic. At least get him to wear some Depends so the shite trail is not so broad and fluid.

Ben Bradlee vetted the shite out of Deep Throat before they ran with it. He didn't just take Woodward and Garfunkel's word for it.

Yeah that'll read really well on the front page of the Times.
Trump is the Trump administration's greatest liability. Things would improve immediately if he got his own act together.
Wrong! It's Trump's nonconformist, IDGAF, you want to take it to the weeds attitude that makes him beloved to his constituents....., the Times? Frick the Times and the leftist loons that run that sorry rag.

We've been pretty much rained in. Today was actually okay, but I went in to the shop for a few hours.
Got some solid bites today. Really started opening up about my feelings on the president.

Why weren't you honest about your political leanings when you first joined this forum? I mean, it's an anonymous message board.
Why lie and pretend to be a moderate?

Dixiecrats are destroying the Republican party. And I'm glad that you people finally came on so strong with this buffoon of a "leader" that you've destroyed any semblance of a moral [faux Christian] authority and any credible claim to adherence to market principles. A lot of people are going to see it. Now if we can cleave you out of the GOP and pull in some young up and comers who understand how economies function...

We good.
I'm no political operative, but if I'm anything I'm patient, flexible. And I'm counting in years.

You do understand that some WH staff are essentially civil servants, and some others are career staffers?
nah, it's you, so probably not

Traditional conservative? Thanks for that. I can laugh myself to sleep tonight. Unlike you, no traditional conservative defended almost every move Obama made. But hey, so now you're a self-professed conservative? Damn son, at this rate you'll be a John Bircher by Christmas.
Dixiecrat? You are aware it's not 1956 anymore. right?. I will have to say, though, that you are usually (not always) more subtle in the way you play the race card, as opposed to some like montanagator, strong safety, etc.
Oh, and not that either one of us gives a damn if you know this, but I'm not a Republican. I despise the GOP almost as much as the Democrats. Too many sellouts, like the Bush family, McCain, Boehner, etc.
I'm a conservative. There's a difference. One of the reasons I like Trump is because he's the closest thing we've had to a 3rd party candidate in at least 100 years. When you despise both major parties as much as I do, that's a good thing.
PS - I guarantee you one thing. Outside of your band of misfits, there's nobody here who thinks you're a traditional conservative. Or like I said, even a moderate. Conservatives didn't white knight for Barack Obama (No pun intended).
