He doesn't because he doesn't own it. The church owns it and the church pays taxes on it.

So either enforce the rules in all churches, or enforce it in none. But leaving things as they were, with uneven enforcement of the law, should have never occurred. Rather than restricting pulpit commentary, Trump chose to open it up. Kudos to him for that.

I assume you were opposed to Rev. MLK Jr., Rev Jesse Jackson,and all the other black Baptist Reverends when they spoke out in favor of civil rights for blacks back in the 60s.

I also assume you are opposed to Rev Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and all the other black Baptist Reverends when they speak out in favor of civil rights for blacks today.

I'm glad religion is going to be more important in politics. This is an action by President Trump that I fully support.
