Politics has no place in the church and vice versa.

Trump can vigoriously promote religious liberty if he wants, but this is harmful.

There are already pastors in the black community that try to set themselves up as Kings, this will not help matters. It's not just those pastors, it's others too.

Nothing worse than an institution of God promoting the rise of man. I wouldn't have it in my church.

I also believe though Churches can speak out against specific policies it believes oppose their beliefs. Not endorsements of candidates.

White folks are too diverse in opinions. You'd risk alienating half your congregation except in the most uniform of southern districts.

If you want god to be happy you need to make sure Creflo Dollar gets a new private jet.

quote:

On November 24, 2014, Dollar's private Gulfstream III jet, N103CD ran off the runway at Biggin Hill Airport, United Kingdom.[20] There were no serious injuries.[21] To replace the old jet, Dollar launched a fundraising campaign to get his followers to pay approximately $60,000,000 for a new Gulfstream G650 jet. He suggested his followers each commit to giving "$300 or more." The jet he wanted was the "fastest plane ever built in civilian aviation" at that time.[22][23][24] After receiving immediate backlash, Dollar ended his fundraising campaign. The project was kept as an option on the donation page of the ministry's website.[25] Several months later, the board of World Changers Church International announced that they were ready to acquire a Gulfstream G650.[26]

It's people like Creflo who will put the onion out of business.

Joel Osteen is too much a pantsy to ever endorse anybody. Not out of principle but fear.

You are right. Priest at our church and presiding believe bishop continue to attack Trump and praise Obama/Clinton in thinly-disguised ways. Wife and I have considered a change in churches as a result but stay because the kids are happy there.

He's got to have a big house so God knows where to find him at.

Duh.

I agree, but I don't know that it's the government's job to enforce.

Of getting up and running your mouth as priest or pastor on politics if you can't control the way your congregation votes.

Can you link the tax office records for this house? I may want to share in your outrage about this. That would be way out of line for that to be a church parsonage not subject to taxes.

The problem is the Gov is forcing religious people to do things they are against that's NOT harmful to others.

I'm not religious, so I don't really care what they do. I care that there were regulations in place that were unevenly enforced.
