German thinks that when he deviates from an original argument to come up with some sideways way to look at it that has nothing to do with it that it makes him look smart. This isn't unusual for German. Frankly the trick is to keep him on task but you guys let him switch the subject so there's nothing you can really do now. At this point all he's going to do is keep repeating the exact same argument as many pages it takes to get you to stop posting
