Too many idiots on this board don’t realize that the beauty of this board was once the diversity of thought. I don’t agree with many of the “leftist” posters but I appreciate their presence here. It adds a level of balance and sanity. It forces one to defend his ideas in a cogent way. Without them this place basically turns into a never ending Sean Hannity show nightmare.
We now have people on here chastising posters for being too “level-headed,” or “trying to be a voice of reason.” Think about how far off the rails you have to go to criticize someone for being level-headed.

This is not new. I can't remember a time when this was not true.
I'm "liberal" by Board standards, and I am still here. Just busy with business until Thursday. Then Jazzfest Friday. So I'll be in and out.
By the way, can someone tell me why Chicken whacked my "echo chamber" thread? I was genuinely surprised by the level of balance on that thread.

I think “lack of policy” is something different from “achieved agenda items” for Repubs.
Did Trump give the right 60 percent or more of what it wanted? Likely.
Did he have a consistent policy for doing it? Doesn’t seem like it, although some of you will say it’s 4d chess.
Does it matter if he has consistent policy or instead throws darts at the wall so long as he achieves the agenda of the right? Now that’s a real question. Guess we will see.
