People are missing the point IMO...

Trump bullied Biden and drug him into a food fight. Biden wanted to look like the elder statesman. Trump wasn’t about to allow that. Instead, he threw punches all night, and handled a raging moderator while smacking around Biden.
Here’s the one takeaway, even if subconscious, from tonight for casual voters. No, it’s not that Trump is a jackass. That’s already established. It’s that Biden looks OLD. Biden is a shell of his former self. Trump made sure that was evident and didn’t let him take the high road.
Trump has better political instincts than most understand or care to admit.

All that may be true but it doesn’t mean it translated well to those Trump needs to swing his way. I hope I’m wrong.

He didn’t win 2016 just off his base, and he won’t this time either. He needs the 3rd party defectors and undecideds just like last time

I think you nailed it.

Biden was much more nasty and ugly with his insults than Trump. He also lied pretty much everytime he spoke.

My wife is a suburban white voter. She said Trump is a bully but that’s his style. It made Joe look old and weak in comparison.

Yeah My take away was how frail Biden seemed. However, trump interrupted way too much and gave Biden lifelines from digging his own hole. Also, moderator is a cuck
