Pithy but people who actually like their candidate are much more likely to vote - especially if there is a line. People who don't really care about the candidate don't vote. It's as simple as that so yes, enthusing your base is important.

At times I wished he would have shut up, but when I think about his job in protecting our country, he is exactly what I want in a president. Tough, strong and won't take shite from anyone.
