Couple of themes:

-my ped0 conspiracy angle states that this is not a partisan issue (see last page writeup about Hastert and Sasse), but just like profiling if you look at data honestly trends do appear...
-whoever is involved in abuse of the children needs to be tried/prosecuted (irrespective of party or rank)
-some like to smear their opponents pre-emptively with the same vices that they are trying to hide (reference Trump being labeled a sexual predator and Russian co-conspirator...)
-I am not here to knight Trump. He has his warts, but his huge ego/balls allow an "air" of unpredictability that I feel scares the hell out of the establishment (reference uniparty continued attack on him).

cwill, FWIW some really fringe elements believe that Trump/Arapio/and the Birther movement (which HRC started) as a whole were all part of a Deep State distraction from the true past of Obama (deep state operative for CIA). It is partisan, just not Dem v Rep...it just appears that everyone you disagree with politically is easily tied to the conspiracy.

What you are unwittingly an "expert" at is seeing crimes and conspiracy in stories linked to people you disagree with politically....however, with those with which you generally agree you don't. Here, you choose to label Arpaio's shortcomings as just bad policing. If he were a Clinton supporter or a never-trumper, I'm certain you would have a significantly different take, some pink floyd lyrics and a picture of some triangle from Maricopa County.

What you posted above presupposes an honest media seeking the truth.

Instead, we have a consolidated “media” that has it’s own agenda. It showed it’s arse in the election and continues to do so currently Observer article about the sad state of journalism

So, yes, a position of independent query opposed to forced propaganda while keeping an open mind during the process appears to be the more reasonable position instead of a mindless mainstream reader.
