I agree with what you wrote more than what I wrote. I like your opinion better.

I just meant that people may perceive him in a certain way. My language was clumsy. I really agree with a LOT of what you said. And I really do like Kip on a personal level and appreciate how much optimism and positive energy he brings to things.

The uniforms Kip could wear as Lt. Gov would be glorious

It's a place I like to call "North Louisiana". Kip will have a VERY tough go of it in the rural areas just because of the color of his skin. I was living there when Jindal and Blanco were competing for Gov and was astounded at how many people said they were voting for Blanco because they "ain't votin' fer no sand-n****r". It's sad, but true.

The best thing Kip could do in North La would be to not have his face on mailers.

On top of that, Nungesser still has name recognition which -for something like the Lt Gov race- goes a long way. The voters may not know who Nungesser is, but they'll remember that they've seen the name somewhere and don't remember any negatives associated with it.

I've tried to read through 5 pages of replies and I have yet to see (and maybe I missed it) anyone talking about the single biggest thing holding BR back.

Traffic!!! His lack of leadership in this area over his term has been one of my biggest issues with Kip!!

Might I introduce you to the Green Light Plan

This is about as much as Kip can do because the biggest thing needed, a southern Interstate loop, reaches well outside of his jurisdiction.

Very familiar with Green Light Plan. Still no leadership, no constant mantra from his office to our state leaders to figure out a plan.

If as much effort was made in trying to figure out this traffic issue as was made regarding CATS, new taxes and such then maybe someone at the State/Federal levels would take notice.
