One week out, Moore still solidly ahead of Strange in Alabama senate race.

Trump and Pence are expected to campaign for Luther Strange Saturday and Monday respectively. LINK
I think most people are puzzled by the support for Strange by Trump and Pence. Luther Strange is McConnell and Karl Rove's guy. Strange is GOPe all the way. IMO a bargain between Trump and McConnell was struck. In that bargain McConnell would bring up Obamacare "repeal and replace" for another vote before September 30th for Trump (in the form of the Graham-Cassidy bill) and Strange and McConnell and others would support that bill. In return Trump would be expected to support Strange for reelection.
IMO the best outcome (and I have a strong feeling the outcome Trump wants) is passage of Graham-Cassidy in the senate and a Luther Strange defeat.
Let do this Alabama. Support Trump by voting Moore.

I'd love to get Moore Strange...but would also take ahead.

I think Trump is doing this to make amends with McConnell.

There is defiantly some type of grand bargain between Trump and McConnell going on here. I outlined by theory in the OP.

I have a strong feeling you are giving that boob way too much credit to be that invested or engaged in any proposed legislature.

If Roy Moore is really that far ahead in the polls, maybe there should be some sort of educational requirements in place before a citizen can vote.

Well, we have to vote for one of these two turds so I guess people are putting it in gods hands.

Strange is a shitbag, but Moore is a religious whackjob.
Good ole LA...determined to drag Alabama back to the 19th century.

Supposedly the Trump gig has been moved to Friday.

Looking forward to Moore trying his shite on the Senate floor and being expelled/censured/sent back home to AL.

To the folks in Bama. How are the adds running? Has there been the onslought of Strange adds everybody was predicting by McConnell's people? Or have they been fairly balanced?

There has certainly been an onslaught of Strange ads and ads that don't mention Strange, but attack Moore's foundation activities, etc.. I haven't paid attention to the source.
It's kind of a shitshow. I know a lot of people who are just sick of them and ready to pull the trigger on Doug Jones in the general election.
