I'd also want someone physically able to perform their tasks during an emergency. Maybe we can find a balance.

Flight attendants are unnecessary

Then who the frick is going to bring my endless supply of little liquor bottles to make flying tolerable?

I mean it's bad enough in first class. I can't imagine what you proles in cattle class have to deal with.

Personally I'm OK with a more senior US flight attendant, just in case.

Stewardesses are just glorified cocktail servers. There's no reason they shouldn't be hot.

Someone will be offended by his comments. You can bet the house on that.

The only person's who's age and skill I'm concerned with are those flying the plane. If we hit the damn ground, doubtful any flight attendant is dragging my arse anywhere.

Reminds me of a great joke...ok you be the judge.

Standing at customs with our eleven B-777 F/As. In front of us in line is a Singapore crew. There must be 18-20 F/As all exactly the same size.

One of our F/As says why can they have twice as many as us?

Pilot answers: 777 is limited to 2,000 lbs of F/As

I applaud Qatar for even hiring women.

I remember when stewardesses were young, hot and female.

Now, it's a refuge for gay men and post menopausal women.

Al Bakar is absolutely correct.

AA is the ancestral home of Slam Clickers and geriatric Cat Ranchers. Some of the meanest bitch's in the air.

What Akbar didnt say was, he views Qatari's 26yo FA's as his own personal harem.

No mini bottles in first class (or business class). Definitely not on Qatar.

Qatar airways is fricking sick. If you ever get a chance to get up in a business class room you should try it.

How the frick did "fricking sick" ever come to mean "quite exquisite and lavish"??

That makes no fricking sense. Also, what is the age cut-off where people actually say "fricking sick"?

If you have been previously offended by an advanced aged, leathery, self important flight attendant on a legacy carrier (such as American Airlines), you can see that there is some sense to the point he is making.
