So the idiot who destroyed the dem party to near all time lows is going to be their face?

The party crumbled around Obama, IMO.

See, as the black president, Obama never really needed to wade into those murky racial waters too much. He made some comments and he had his moments, but he avoided a lot of it.

The rest of the party, however, have been in the midst of a virtue signaling hissy-fit for the past 8 years.

That's why Obama is still popular (mostly avoided the scolding tone of preachy regressive liberals) and the Democratic party is in shambles.

1. Obama is an introvert and probably looking forward to being away from the spotlight

I don't get this sense at all. He seems all too happy to hear himself talk, preferably on camera

2. The smart play would be to let Trump have the whole stage to himself and sit back and watch the shite show.

Agreed, but I don't think he can do it. But even if you are right, the left won't let him recede.

Michelle active in politics

Don't worry, love for her is wildly eggagerated by the media. Liberals, behind closed doors, are the biggest racists.

The only people who would pull a ballot for her when she has ZERO experience doing anything except being a politicians wife are blacks in the inner city (think the people who would go to Essence festival).

At least Carter had dignity in defeat.
Barry is truly going to soil his legacy, his name, and the whole PC rainbows/unicorns culture he represents.

Obama will be the most annoying former President ever and he's about to get his inner Sharpton and JJ on. He's only 55 so we get several decades of this shite.

His post presidency will the polar opposite of Bush 43.

Obama wants to move to the UN, but Trump is in the process of pulling the rug out from under Obama on that plan.

I have thought the same thing for a long time. He see's himself as some kind of a world savior. Trump should play it slow with UN until Hussein gets himself into a position of power and then pull all USA funding.

So is Josh Earnest going along to provide his usual cover?

I think he is just channeling his inner Julianne Malveaux:
"You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that’s how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person.”
