These drug dealers arw violent criminals, they are blowing each other away but they are non violent.LOL.
Not every drug dealer is on a corner, fending off Marlo's crew.

If we got the major dealers, drug amounts would go down.
Because that strategy has worked, right? That vacuum of billions of dollars of business never gets filled by somebody else, right?

I don't normally use the word ignorant here, simply because I think it is overused but you are ignorant.

Let's just implement Sharia Law while we're at it too

Why does this sound more like a racial devide issue than a drug issue?
Crack sentencing has been a racial issue, as has the majority of the policies implemented by the war on drugs.
If it were simply about "drugs", it would be more of a health and rehab issue than a criminal issue, no?

I'm sorry you have had a loved one become an addict, but addiction should be treated, not incarcerated.
Have you read any of my posts? I never said addiction should be a crime. I explicitly stated that using and possession shouldn't be a crime. Dealing should have harsh sentences.

That's right at 100% of them, so bring a big wagon.

Well, I'm not sure how you obtain drugs without purchasing them from someone who sells.
If you know of a way, I'm all ears.

Nice, Obama.
Actually serious this time.

Exactly. Drugs are bad. I don't want them around. However I don't think we should prosecute users. You can't get hooked if you don't ever start though. I think we can bring the number of addicts down.

Pushing drugs is one of the most evil things you can do IMO.
Who the frick "pushes drugs"? I've never had a door-to-door heroin dealer come give me a sales pitch.

“Welfare money was not enough to pay for our meth habit and support our son so we turned our rented home into a meth lab. We stored the toxic chemicals in our refrigerator not knowing that the toxins would permeate [go into] the other food in the icebox. “When I gave my three-year-old son some cheese to eat, I did not know that I was giving him poisoned food. I was too stoned on meth to notice, until twelve hours later, that my son was deathly ill. But then I was so stoned it took me two hours to figure out how to get him to the hospital five miles away. By the time I got to the emergency room my boy was pronounced dead of a lethal dose of ammonia hydroxide—one of the chemicals used to make meth.” —Melanie
Let's make it all legal. No way this woman should be in jail, right? Hell, it's just a 3 year old.....

Unless he is talking about just federal prisoners, he needs to stay the hell out of any state's business as to state crimes and state sentencing guidelines. Yeah - it's out of whack but the states need to clean this up; not told how to by the federal govt.

I can grow it in my Back yard. Clearly, that should be legal.
