Inasmuch as the Republicans provided no details of what they were proposing (WHICH deductions? WHICH loopholes?) the President and Democrats were correct to reject it out of hand.
it seems like the GOP needs to just keep sending over reasonable proposals like this one
the DEMs will become the obstructionists
the DEMs will have to admit they're thinking more of ideology than solutions
MSM will never carry that water.
Republicans draw a line in the sand = republicans are obstructionists for rejecting proposals that cross that line.
Democrats draw a line in the sand = republicans are obstructionists for not being willing to concede that line to democrats.
That's the narrative you'll here, the lemmings will fall in line.
t seems like the GOP needs to just keep sending over reasonable proposals like this one
Obama's got Republicans by the balls. Obama won the election...
and we run a $1.6 trillion deficit in one year...dumbass
Obama's got Republicans by the balls. Obama won the election... the people have spoken, and most want tax rates raised for people like Mitt Romney. Obama tried to be conciliatory in his first term only to meet constant obstruction, anyway. This time around he won't be so nice, and the GOP will pay the price.
I agree, all the Bush Tax Cuts should end. Democrats believe the Bush Tax Cuts are horrible so let's end it, but a recession is looming my friend and there will be nobody to blame. The people need to feel the consequences.
