All those ads with people saying they found a great plan for $17 a month--we're paying for that shite.

All those 17 dollar a month plans were given to people that probably could have been eligible for Medicaid or they they had some obscene deductible and only covered you if you broke your ankle on a Tuesday, but Tranny jobs for kids and abortions were covered after you met your deductible.

My healthcare costs have gone through the roof along with all my friends and family. It’s a result of people like me paying for people that don’t. Not a bad deal for people who barely pay anything.

I didn't say there weren't pre-selected winners in this system, nor that crony capitalism was absent from this arrangement. To your point, it would never have been allowed to happen otherwise. But it is absolutely where this was intended to take us, and it is happening at an alarmingly quick pace. The COVID fiasco served only to accelerate the rate of corporate/bureaucratic consolidation.

Maybe if you were self-employed or you owned your own business with employees, your Pollyannaish opinions of Obamacare would be a lot more informed and smarter.

Voicing frustration about a failure to repeal ACA is defending Obama?

I couldnt help but notice you left out the use of the word 'deflect' in my post

Because deflecting from McCain being the sole reason we still have ACA, and shifting that blame to Trump, is defending the root cause of why we still have it

Can you read? I quoted you verbatim, and the word "deflect" is right there in black and white.

Who doesn't think McCain was an a-hole, and a liberal at that by the end of his life? Nobody is deflecting from his role in saving ACA. He cast the deciding vote.

You just don't like any level of criticism of DT, but the inconvenient fact is repealing ACA was a campaign promise he wasn't able to deliver.

He can’t create more Senators. He was naive thinking McCain wouldn’t frick over the entire country to spite Trump. Putting that on Trump makes you look petty. A lot like McCain.

That’s true. But it’s still a big promise he wasn’t able to deliver.

Is he saying repeal it again at his rallies?

Why does an attorney have such a struggle with the English language. What I stated is a simple fact. Right?

Did Trump promise to repeal ACA? Yes, he did. Multiple times.

Did he deliver that? No, he didn't.

That's the sum total of the factual statement. Why do you have a problem with it?

If you want to get into a debate about excuses, that's fine. But understand some of us aren't as into excuses as you are.

Lulz

Explain to me how quoting me using the term 'deflect', is somehow YOU using the term deflect in your response?

You intentionally left out the term 'deflect' in your reply, so you could claim you werent defending Obama. By defending McCains hurt feelz. The whole point of my post was that you ronbois were deflecting the criticism of Obama, by shitting on Trump. Without a mention of McCain/ Classic deflection

Because McCain also campaigned on repealing ACA. But when he was the sole person that could deliver on that promise, he failed. Skipping over that to get to Trumps promise demonstrates lack of intellect

Thats akin to blaming the coach, because the QB fumbled away the snap during the victory formation. And end up losing by a FG

I don’t have a problem with it. I simply said trying to lay the ACA not being repealed at Trump’s feet appears petty. That too is a factual statement. Why do you have a problem with it?

This is where English comes into play again.

Do you understand the difference between "Trump didn't deliver on his promise" and "it's all Trump's fault that ACA wasn't repealed?"

I posted only one of those, and I even posted that it was McCain that cast the deciding vote.

FFS you're a lawyer.

Why do I have to answer your posts the way you'd like me to? I quoted your post accurately, and I responded to it.

JFC - how was I defending Obama? The first post of mine in this thread was the following -

Voicing frustration about a failure to repeal ACA is defending Obama?

How in the frick do you interpret that as defending Obama?

quote:

The whole point of my post was that you ronbois were deflecting the criticism of Obama, by shitting on Trump. Without a mention of McCain/ Classic deflection

Except I didn't deflect criticism of Obama, and I mentioned McCain. FFS I think I called him an a-hole, a liberal, and pointed out that he cast the deciding vote.

How the frick did you miss that in a post you responded to?

quote:

Skipping over that to get to Trumps promise demonstrates lack of intellect

The only one demonstrating a lack of intelligence is you. That, our you struggle to read plain English.

When you had to go on medication because Trump won in 2016, did the ACA make it harder for you to get said medication?

lmao - right, you know better what I’m thinking/posting than I do. You sound like SDV.

Might it be you’re an emotional midget where Trump is concerned so you read shite into posts involving Trump that isn’t there?

Written English shouldn’t be a struggle for an attorney.

nobody did a thread on Obama visiting the PM in the UK weeks ago.

I wonder if it had to do with Assange?

they will rule today on whether Assange has to return to Barr and the FBI obstructionists.

LIVE

maybe needs its own thread...
