Good. Need to go through the proper channels like every single legal immigrant to the US has had to go through.

I don't why the hell these people think they're entitled to just hop the border and get in front of the line.

Good. I guess now he can "dream" about following the rule of law.

So, I'm curious. What do they do with the young son? I'm assuming he's born here so he's a citizen. Does he go with the dad or does he become a ward of the state?

truly a shame.

He wasn't deported earlier. He wasted years of his life here instead of spending it somewhere he could have done it legally.

However, according to a Monday court filing by his lawyers, the agents told him that even though he was a DACA recipient 'he would be arrested, detained, and deported anyway, because he was not "born in this country."'

I mean, it's terrible that the parents chose to put their child at risk. They knew what they were doing.

I'd probably be willing to do something similar. However, I wouldn't expect another country to forgive me for breaking their laws because of feelings. I risked it and lost. Now I have to deal with the consequences.

People seem to think illegals have squatters rights. Those people are morons. Try that in any other country, including Mexico

I remember that time my parents made a choice to move when I was a teenager and I said frick it, I'll stay, live alone and in poverty.

It wasn't his choice to come here, regardless of how he got here, he was, if the article is accurate, a law abiding productive member of society. deporting him for choices his parents made is sad.

"Productive member of society" may be stretching it. It appears his last job was working at the family store. And he did a stint at a community college.

I don't blame these people for coming here illegally if they don't have the means to come legally. I would do the same for my family if I were in the same situation.

However, I don't think people should blame us for deporting such individuals either. Our society is not setup for straight up open borders.

Does he have legal standing to be in this country?

The answer is no.

Ergo, back he goes to his country.
