Kaspersky Labs is a Russian company owned by Eugene Kaspersky. Their software is very sophisticated and has been a major contributor in shutting down some of the worst viruses.
Here's the catch; Eugene Kaspersky is a spy who He studied at the KGB-backed institution, “Institute of Cryptography, Telecommunications, and Computer Science.” After this, he became an “intelligence officer” (AKA Russian Spy). He is entirely, absolutely opaque about both his time at the “educational” institution, and his military service. No transparency: the Russian way of doing business.
I'm shocked that their software is on US gov networks, but I'm sure some seeetheart deals were cut.
Why does NPR rail against Trump's Russian connections, but decline mentioning their complicity with a major Russian player?

NPR doesn't "rail", they report news. And there are articles from NPR on suspicions about Russian government connections going back years.

I listen every morning during my commute. While the anchors may not rail so much, their guests certainly rail.

Their anchors rail. Still waiting for a fair and balanced show hosted by Tom Ashbrook.
