My daughter just received an email stating that to continue being a student there all students are required to get the Phiza jab. Why? Because they are using the FDA approval as their justification.

I’m having the discussion now with her about transferring to a Florida or private school.

This is fricked up.

It’s just a matter of time before all La universities require it. Thanks Westpoint for your impeccable morals and leadership.

I’m just saying that LSU has a form that you can opt of if vaccinations.

There is a clause that states that you understand the ramifications including that if an outbreak happens you can’t go to campus activities.

Maybe Nichols has the same

It’s actually a part of the state law — immunizations aren’t required.

Fwiw, I saw Clune respond to a post and say they would honor medical and religious exemptions.

Whether they will or not who knows, but it’s worth a shot if she enjoys going to school there. I am a Nicholls alum am disappointed in this decision, but Clune is hiding behind the UL system as his reasoning.

Can the school point to any student having it as an outbreak or even point to the current national situation as one and then require immunization for attendance? I’m no attorney, but I know how they can manipulate translation of language like this.

Yeah I’m sure it’d be easy but it’s a way out at least.

Well F won’t be a reason to keep you off campus since it says the disease must be vaccine preventable.

Nichols is requiring it because the University of Louisiana system is requiring it. LSU is requiring it too. It's going to be required everywhere.

Maybe not Southern. I wonder if Grambling will have special exemption even thought they're in the UL system.

They just ask students to quarantine now if test positive.

You can still get it vaccinated and will still have to quarantine.

So whats the point?
