I pulled the attendance off of each game using ESPN.com box score.

I am not about to link boxscore links for all the games played today (this weekend).

Rest assured those numbers are clear as day if you want to go look at them.

You didn't post any visual facts, numbnuts. You posted a pic of tiger stadium. I don't recall LSU taking a stance on the anthem one way or another. So your little gotcha kinda falls flat on its face.

You took a handful of games and used that to state that there was no negative consequence to the flag stance by the players. Was that your intent?

That's because NCAA players stay in the locker room for the anthem. What a bunch of un-American bastards.

TWO teams below 90% FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON (SO FAR).

edit: Six Home Two Road.

Spoiler Alert: Just because those seats are empty doesn't mean that ticket hasn't already been sold.

True, at least for a large portion of the empty seats. But even if the seat was sold already, there's still a lot of money being lost when the seat ends up being empty on gameday. Lost revenue from parking, concessions, merchandise sales.

So, admitting that seats were, in fact, empty, I will agree with you that the majority of seats are pre-sold. Many of those to ticket brokers, many by season ticket holders who can't sell them on-line, or corporate accounts that give them to customers (who don't give a shite and don't go).

If that reality remains in place, it is a very disturbing trend for the NFL, as it would be for any business.
As I stated earlier, the American people have the attention span and moral commitment of a garden gnome. Any "trend" that may be setting this year, will be forgotten about next year.

If the NFL is declining in popularity it is because of the awareness of head injuries and/or the product just isn't as good as it used to be. Oh sure, there are the Drama Queens who will boycott and then pat themselves on the back for accomplishing something with their lives.

But in true fashion, the Trumpophants in their desperation to find something...ANYTHING they can construe as WINNING, are claiming sole responsibility for their God Emperor.

It is both sad and pathetic that this is where our country is right now.

What's the percentage on that ESPN link? Seems odd that there's a bunch of teams over 100%.

Is that a comparison of year-over-year attendance numbers?

Jerry World has party passes that still count but these people technically don't have a seat.

Fans really DGAF about CTE. They still want to see a receiver get knocked the frick out coming across the middle.

While those tickets were probably already sold before the season it is telling for the owners of what might come next season. Do you think they will continue to gamble ticket sales for next season on the current situation?

I'm pretty sure they are in it for the long haul and not just this season.

Those are ticket sales, not attendance.

NFL teams, in general, don't announce actual attendance.

I agree. And I'm one of them. But moms and dads are beginning to think twice about scrambling Juniors brains, and that is beginning to have an effect.

I've already addressed this twice in this thread. Americans have the attention span and moral commitment of a garden gnome. They will have long since forgotten about this next year and will be herded into faux outrage over some other insignificant diversion by then.

But there's a dozen other teams above 100% too. Far as I know, the Cowboys are the only team that sells standing room only tickets. Even taking the Dallas party passes into account, is there THAT many party passes capacity to makeup 16% of the total attendance? The percentages don't make sense.

A tweet takes no time. Don't act like he's putting off anything important. I do wish he'd let it rest, though.
