About Woodrow Wilson High School -- renaming this school would stir up a lot of people who went to school there, so (for now) they aren't touching it.
Last edit: Woodrow Wilson High School is the last white stronghold in Dallas ISD. Hillcrest High School and W.T. White are long gone.
Wilson is the one school that white liberals point to as a successful integration story. But it's majority Hispanic with significant white minority (as opposed to majority Hispanic and significant black minority, as with the other schools).

Monuments/statues for Thomas Jefferson and George Washington will start being taken down in the next 3 years. That's a fact.

That poster thought that because Sam Houston didn't want to leave the Union, that he opposed slavery.
That poster was very, very wrong (Houston had slaves and opposed abolition).

Sam Houston? He opposed secession and resigned as Governor when Texas seceded.
Ben Franklin proves this bunch is insane.
Oddly they didn't include former DISD Superintendent W.T. White (who has a high school named for him)--never mind that he flatly refused to integrate schools until forced by court order to do so. Or W.H. Atwell--the DISD attorney who fought segregation all the way.

At this point there's only one solution.
For every classification of schools, list them in order of opening (with alphabet as a tiebreaker if you have two or more schools opened the same year). Then number them consecutively.
e.g. the oldest elementary school is numbered E.S. 1 and so forth. (Or start with 2 in case someone is triggered about someone else being number 1)

Yes,they did. Both are included for "investigation." Atwell was a federal judge who refused to proceed with integration (unless the DMN was wrong and he was simply a lawyer).
And Sam Houston and Jim Bowie had slaves.

Tonight is the night that the Tyler school board will examine school name changing policies in relation to demands to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School.
I'm almost certain John Tyler had slaves, but don't tell anyone that.
During the last Tyler school board meeting, the vast majority of speakers opposed the change. But that was the case in Dallas, too.
As usual, white liberals are leading the charge. I hate those motherfrickers.

Good. We need to erase our racist past and glorification of it. Including founding fathers. New generations should know nothing of the founding fathers lest they believe in the founding principles of the country that led to an oppressing class of white patriarchy for over 200 years.
