“I think he’s in a position right now where he’s much more isolated than he realizes,” Gingrich said in an interview with Fox News’ Bill Hemmer. “On the Hill, he has far more people willing to sit to one side and not help him right now, and I think that he needs to recognize that he’s taken a good first step with bringing in General Kelly, but he needs to think about what has not worked. You don’t get down to 35 percent approval and have people in your own party shooting at you and conclude that everything’s going fine.”
“How many times have we had this conversation? It was John McCain, Gold Star families and Access Hollywood. Is this week that much different than the numerous other situations?” Hemmer asked.
“It is only different in that you go through little ground, little ground, little ground, and after a while you have enough different people pull back that you are in a qualitatively different position and right now, that if he wants to get his agenda enacted that if he wants get things done and have a presidency that is stable, he is going to have to have a couple of serious changes,” Gingrich said. “I think ‘The Art of the Comeback,’ which is a fascinating book that he wrote in 1997, is a really helpful reminder and he needs to think of what hasn’t been working and what he will do that is more effective in the rest of the presidency.”

USA Today has a headline that Trump is gone. But then they've printed that headline 154 times in the last 6 months. You're not a liberal. You're boring.

What' being missed here is that Trump voters voted for him because they WANT instability to a certain extent.
For example, in the short term it certainly hurts that GOP Congressman are bad mouthing their own parties President and doing everything in their power to obstruct his agenda. But in the long term , it's good for Americans to get a clear picture of what a pile of shite these people are.
Certainly you don't have to defend Trump every time he says something stupid, but you also don't have to give the MSM a fricking sound byte every time either.

If his approval rating is proof that he is isolated, and Congress has a lower approval rating, are they isolated to different corners of the timeout room?
Seems like a good opportunity for Trump and Congress to work together to mutually raise their respective approval ratings.
Congress has as much to gain from working with the president as the President has with working with Congress. I wish they'd see that, and realize that the people are growing tired of 80% of Congress's time being spent on irrelevant causes that are purely political and for personal gain.

Why? Because they don't follow a morally bankrupt piece of shite like Donald Trump? What an awesome way to prove a point.

Common sense from Newt, and you are getting a lot of deflection

Go frick yourself Newt, right now Trump is doing exactly what everyone elected him to do.
Roll back regulations
Tell other countries to frick themselves
Tell SJW go frick themselves
Not acting like a politician
Support America over globalism.

He's not a member of Congress. We have separation of powers in this county. He's doing what he can from the executive branch. frick bowing down before the lobbyist mouthpieces in the establishment party congress. 2018 midterms are coming. And I hope America wakes up and voted these pieces of shite out of office.

This is bullshite. Trump is close to 90% approval with the GOP, 60% with independents and 10% with democrats. Anything else is bullshite. Believe what you want though. With those types of numbers; no one is isolated.

To be fair social justice Warriors should go frick themselves and I'd probably be happier if they just off themselves

That's a very insensitive thing to say right now since what's-her-name (the fat ugly girl that got run over) had on her face book page that she was a social justice warrior.

Maybe SJW's can go to hell for a bit, but its really a poliboard mentality to just want to tell other countries to go frick themselves. And yes, obnoxious.
