This will not end well.

It's just going to further devalue the college degree and make the higher ed bubble pop even more and it's going to be nasty arse pop.

I would be in support of this if they limited this program to trade schools, not full blown for year universities.

How so? Anxiety is a weak excuse. Almost everyone taking the ACT, LSAT, MCAT, etc. will have anxiety during the test. Intelligence is what drives scores.

Anxiety is a weak excuse? You have no clue do you? You need to stop before you make yourself look completely retarded.

Umm I did score well thank you

I'm sorry you're such an idiot and do not understand simple emotional and behavioral disabilities. You should have learned these things in beginning Psych.

Look at how emotional you're getting, either you scored poorly or your kids have. Sorry about that, man.

Also- lol at the beginning psych jab

Emotional? No just telling you that you're an idiot. If you graduate from any reputable university you're required a beginning Psych class or sociology class. Which anxiety and the DSM definition is explained.

Don't have kids but some of my SPED students do score low on standardized test

$100k is nothing if you have kids in NY.

How many bureaucrats will be hired to make sure graduates work in NYC for the required time?

It looks to me to be problematic.

Lol. Middle class in NYS earns over 150K.

Most areas of NY especially near NYC making 100-125K is barely getting by.

New York is the worst

Wife works in NY we live in NJ. They want me to report my NJ income to determine her NYS taxes.

I end up filling her NYS married filling separately even though we are joint federally

Hate NYS

Free Alinskyite indoctrination for the masses. What a waste of taxpayers money that is. Free Votech school would be more relevant for the average person if a good paying job skill is the ultimate goal. That goes for anyone anywhere btw.

People think you're subtle-bragging or playing some game when you constantly point out that $100K is no longer the end-all/be-all "made it" income in this country--especially outside income-depressed or low cost-of-living areas. But that figure has somehow held its mystique even longer than the "if I was handed $1M, I could retire and live my wildest dreams at 30" idea.

ewhat related...but the biggest line of bullshite served up on here is that people are "bad test takers". Bad test takers just have lower IQs. I've never met someone that I would consider intelligent, who scored poorly on standardized tests.

Thank you. Jesus, it needed to be said. My daughter is in high school and the whole secondary education system has become a joke. The average- keep in mind, AVERAGE- GPA for the entire school is now a 3.43. Let that sink in for a bit. If you're "only" making two A's and four B's then you're dragging the school down. This is a public school, keep in mind.

Yet most of these kids are making middling/average scores on their SATs and other standardized tests. (Which is the way the bell curve works- most kids are average. Gasp!) Now there's a huge controversy and parents can't understand why their precious angels are "honor students" yet are scoring average on their standardized tests. They're furious with the school and PTA meetings are shite shows of white middle class soccer mom fury.

So cleary little Ryker and Mason and Bryn are geniuses- they've got straight A's. The tests must be the problem.

So poor households, which by and large do not send kids to college, will be paying taxes so middle class and upper middle class kids can go to college for free.

Poor households don't pay very much tax, at least not income tax.
