I agree. Generally those units don't produce recruitment videos. There's no need to. They have their recruiting grounds and their methods for finding folks and it doesn't involve advertising themselves.

I see it as a coming out party. Imo it also means that the end game is near. They wouldn't be doing this unless things have gotten to the point where there is no stopping what is coming.

I am familiar with 4th POG's work and the work of their higher headquarters. I worked very closely with 4th POG and studied their methods during some of my Army time. IMHO, the purpose of this product is to impress and to recruit.

Here's what the internet says about what a PsyOp Officer does:

"A PSYOPS Officer conducts operations to convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences. The goal is to influence the emotions, motives, objective reasoning, decision-making abilities and ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations, groups, and individuals."

Here's my take on things after reading that - given what a PsyOp Officer's job is, as described above, this outstanding product serves to both impress and recruit. Of course it doesn't clearly explain all the details of the job. Of course there's a mysteriousness that one is left with after viewing the product. This serves to impress and to recruit.

Many in this thread have astutely commented on how this product touches on "Q" things with subtlety - I myself missed most of these subtle references - however, IMHO, this demonstrates how the product will impress even folks who have a very informed awareness of the "Q" things out there.

The product is mysterious and a little scary, so, it will impress our enemies who may see it. The product also will operate to attract young Soldiers and Officer who might be thinking about a career in PsyOp.

So in summary, IMHO it's a very impressive and sophisticated product. It's not strictly a recruiting video, because it intends to do more than just recruit, although I think it will do a great job of recruiting.

IMHO, it's not some kind of veiled warning or veiled revelation of some kind of Army operation that's soon to take place.

But, this is all just my opinion. It's been a few years since I've been in that community working with those folks. Maybe things have changed enough to make my opinions incorrect.

That's my 2 cents.

Thanks to the OP for posting this. I don't think that I would have run across this product otherwise.

I served with USACAPOC(A) as their Deputy Command Surgeon. We managed the two Army Reserve POGs and worked closely with the one AC POG (at the time).

37s are "interesting" people (to say the least).

I was a student with them in those 37 classes and, they seemed like OK people to me - interesting, as any other Officer or Soldier might be, and, no more unusual than any others we have served with in our time.

But, of course, I wasn't able to meet all of them.
