My personal study: this board is around 17% liberal (method described inside)

My method was fairly simple
From late August to late September, I would occasionally add up the upvote/downvotes on the front page of the poliboard
The liberal total= upvotes in a liberal thread +downvotes in a conservative thread
Conservative total= upvotes in a conservative thread + downvotes in a liberal thread
Total= lib plus con
16.7% of the total was from liberals
So is this board an echo chamber? Mostly
But 17% isn't small change
And this informal study assumes that libs and cons will use the voting button at equal rates
It could be that this board is more than 17% liberal if they don't vote as much

False. This board is about 17% progressive, which isn't liberal.
Much more are liberal in the classical sense of the word.

Probably skewed by my downvote stalkers. If I wrote an ode to mac and cheese served by nude chicks on the food board my down vote stalker and his two alters would give me my customary three downvotes in under eleven seconds.

I only picked threads on the front page that were ideological and policy-driven rather than about trump or conspiracy theories
Threads about particular people are unhelpful because liberals could dislike a "liberal politician" and conservatives can dislike trump

I have watched as a conservative topic gets discussed. You can see the down votes start ticking off, in an almost precise fashion where they have time to log off, and then back on as an alter. So they can down vote again
So about half of those down votes you are including, are just alters trying to pad the numbers on here. To make them feel better

Don't shortchange yourself. Those downvotes were well earned. It's almost admirable that on a partisan board, you still manage to be as disrespected as you are.
