I notice you didn't mention Cruz, who's a hack, but smart, well spoken, and will excite a lot of people.
On the Democratic side, you have old, worn out Hillary and one or two possible challengers to her left, who would be centrists by European standards, but will scare the bejabbers out of Middle America by the time the spin machine gets through with them.
The candidates may be shitty, but somebody is gonna win this thing. You don't have to be great, you just have to stagger home in front of everybody else.

Guess you can put me in their ranks as well. I am a firm believer in Young Earth Creation. Probably should be rounding me up and sending me to the camps as well.
I dont think anyone wants to round you up and send you to a camp just because you are an idiot.

Huckabee won Iowa's caucus rather handedly in 2008. This doesn't mean a thing. Far too much importance placed on the Iowa caucus IMO
The inherent weakness of a caucus state is that only the hardcore enthusiasts for candidates show up. In that 2008 Iowa caucus, only 131k voters participated on the Republican side. Five days later, in NH, a state with only about 40% of the population of Iowa, 239k voters took part in the Republican primary.
In Iowa, McCain finished 4th and Huckabee won. Five days later in NH, McCain won and Huckabee finished 3rd.
When all states had voted, McCain had won the nomination and Huckabee had finished 3rd in the popular vote.

When you're to the right of Pat Robertson you may want to reconsider your views
Pat Robertson: there "ain't no way" earth is 6,000 years old and if you continue to fight this you're only hurting Christianity.
Pat encourages you to "not make a joke of yourself", Wolfhound

It's not yet midterms and it's Iowa. This doesn't mean a thing.

really? you're really a young earther?
Yup. And based upon the opinion of Mouton, that also makes me an idiot as well. Guess I need some re-education.

Are you sure? Because based on your own assessment I am an idiot. Probably am a danger to society in some form or another.

Sorry buddy but if you believe the Earth is 6,000 years old despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary you are not an intelligent person.

Pretty sure I am a fairly intelligent person. But I will take what you say under advisement.

How in the world can you believe something so silly then?
Posted on 9/16/14 at 1:36 pm to mouton
Do you have legitimate proof that it's not 6,000 years old?

I wouldn't say that at all. But it does require one to willfully disregard all evidence about history, prehistory, and the fossil record, in favor of a literal interpretation of a bronze age middle eastern text.

We know how long it takes for fossil fuels to form, for one. Carbon dating. There's a bajillion (to borrow a phrase from Fat Hucakbee Son #1) other answers such as "we're 10,000 light years away from Planet X proving that the universe is billions of years old" as well.

The country is going to have to be completely fricked up, then split up.
Our system doesn't develop leaders. It develops CYA finger in the air assholes who think they are smarter than everybody else.
