Hurt feelings aren’t convictions.

Mitt isn’t even a man. Does he think his holy underwear is going to save him?

Then Romney obviously has no problem being a one term senator and putting himself on an island with other GOP senators who will refuse to be seen with him in any significant situation and getting zero meaningful legislation passed.

That’s the price any republican Senator would have to pay for a conviction vote against Trump and Romney is going to happily pay that.

That is an admission that he already had doubt. If he already believed beyond reasonable doubt Trump committed a crime, then he wouldnt say maybe new evidence would change my mind.

But this isn’t a criminal trial. Removal from office isn’t nearly as serious. It’s comparable to a civil trial with a lower level of doubt.

Can’t believe that bastard stands by his convictions. Unbelievable.

The fact that he will vote to convict based on the total lack of evidence presented means that he has no convictions. He is 100% a democrat with an R next to his name.

100%. And Mitch should immediately remove him from whatever committees he's on (if Mitch has that power). He needs to be absolutely ostracized by the Republican Senators.

That’s one way of describing having an axe to grind and looking for ways to even the petty score.

It’s either a political process where Senators can make political decisions or it’s tantamount to a criminal trial (I believe it’s the former). If it’s the latter, then conviction for the finding of a crime committed should follow the beyond reasonable doubt standard.

I agree, but I really think he knows his political career is over, and he won't run again in 24. I think the only reason he ran this time was to try and frick Trump every time he got a chance. Also to keep an eye on and try to cover his involvement with Ukraine.

His reasoning is corrupting an election to stay in office. His actual words. How f'd up does he have to be and how threatening must the person who owns his a$$ have to be because that right there is a quote from someone who is responding to a knife being held to their testicles.
