I don't care what happens. if he's a cabinet member...good. if trump tells him to fetch his shine box...good. if trump has security toss him out Winthrop style...even better.

Giving Shameful Mittley a prime opportunity to bend the knee before being relegated to a jester in the king's court.

keep your friends close but keep your enemies even closer.

with this, the cucks will concentrate on MAGA and not challenging Trump in 2020.

Maybe Trump is trying to mend relationships?

I vehemently disagreed with Romney coming out against Trump, but he may prove a better ally than enemy to POTUS TRUMP.

I actually think this would be a great move...despite Romney's petty failed attempts to derail Trump, he still remains as one of the most private-public successfully people left in the party. He's not a huge DC insider either, I think it'd be a solid pick all around. Getting guys like Romney & Cruz on board could go a long way to making this a very successful first term.

This. He also received nearly 61 million votes in '12. Having him on the team as an active player would go a long way to setting up the battle space for a Trump run in '20. It would bring a lot of the #NeverTrump crowd back home.

on a strategy level, why would you run a candidate who can't distinguish himself on what was one of if not the biggest issue of the election? how does that fricking happen

It's not like Romney authored the entire legislation. He vetoed 8 items in the bill and all 8 were eventually overridden by the state legislature.

mitt Romney has no shame. after all of the vitriolic shite he said about trump, at the end of the day a politician is a politician and he'll go there and figuratively suck his dick in hopes that he can get a cabinet position

I just don't buy this argument. If he wants to advise Trump on exactly how to make this country great again and he has the experience to know about it, why shouldn't he accept trump's offer to join his cabinet? It should all be for benefiting the American people.

suggestion is one thing, but they flat out said it about trump. Romney, a guy who holds no office, not running for any office, called a press conference just to say negative shite about him.

I don't really care, and neither should either of them. If Mitt Romney is the most qualified man to be the Secretary of Commerce or State, give it to him. It's not about them, but it's about what's good for the country.

this was simply the best election ever.

Memorable, sure, but I think it's the worst ever.
