These are not nazis these are flagboys that buy into a BS ideology of hate and a belief they are better than others.

Unless you can point to the protestor that was an actual nazi and performed ethnic cleansing its not remotely the same thing.

I can easily compare antifa to the actual brownshirts however thats not a far stretch.

In 1924 a Nazi would have been held in higher regard to most any sensible Americans than a member of the Turkish CUP.

Antifa is a horrible group that is just now getting started. No politician should breath any fire to their flame. The results could be devastating.

Like I said it takes mental gymnastics to try to equate them and will also be wildly unpopular with rational people and by rational I mean those who don't selectively ignore history.

They are anti-fascist fascists and anti-bigot bigots.

Any group that engages in violence are terrorists. You can quibble with your bubble friends about which is worst.

Both are unamerican and full of hate

Selectivly ignoring history? I see history repeating itself through Antifa. Stomping out debate in the country can never be allowed

Actually, Mitt had Obama on the ropes after that monster first debate and then he just hit cruise control or rather just let his foot off the gas.

Compare and contrast that with Trump who went complete scorched earth on Hillary in the home stretch and absolutely worked his arse off going to rallies everywhere.

Exactly. Trash like the OP are going to continue using Mitt for their benefit, but they still loathe him.

I used to like Mitt but he is a total pussy now. I lost a lot if respect for him when he went to dinner with Trump groveling for the Secretary of State gig.

WWII Nazi's who killied millions does not equal Jethro who shaved his head got a tattoo and hoisted a stupid flag because he thinks he is better than other people.

Im far far more worried about a group that has the media on their side and some politicians now too from both sides of the aisle. While using violence to fight for 1 voice and 1 opinion.

Worshipping an ideology that made the nazi death total seem miniscule

Like I said...it takes long winded convoluted explanations aka mental gymnastics. It also happens to be a wildly unpopular opinion with most people and a losing political battle for our curren administration:

"This group Antifa (that no one heard or cared about until last year) is just as bad as Nazis" - yea not the best frickin optics for a politician no?

Confused by the downvotes. What did Romney say that was incorrect? One group idealizes a fascist madman who killed millions of people, and the other doesn't. This is not complicated.

Be honest.

You wouldn't have minded if he had actually gotten the job.

And I did think he had the job until a plain better option in Rex Tillerson made himself available.

Wouldn't have minded in practice because I agree with his politics generally and think he's an accomplished person. I still thought he looked like a bitch trying to get the job. I respected him for trying to torpedo Trump during the primaries and agree with him for doing so.
